Voice-follow doesn’t keep up
Use a mic close to your mouth (a wired or USB-C lav sounds better than Bluetooth), speak clearly, and cut background noise. If what you say drifts far from the script, Talkzy scrolls at your pace until it finds its place again.
Check Settings › Talkzy: Speech Recognition and Microphone must be on. Some languages are still in beta.
Connecting a remote
Pair the keyboard, page-turner or ring remote in iPhone Settings › Bluetooth, then open the prompter. Space = play/pause; ↑/↓ = line; PgUp/PgDn or ←/→ = section; +/− = speed; R = record.
While the camera is open, the volume buttons, Camera Control and the Action button start and stop a take.
Takes don’t show up in Photos
Turn on saving to Photos in Talkzy and allow Photos access in Settings › Talkzy › Photos. With add-only access, takes are still saved, just not into their own album. Every take is also listed under its script in the app.
Restoring a purchase
New phone or reinstalled the app? Open Talkzy, go to Settings and tap Restore purchases. You need a connection and the same Apple ID you bought with.
Cancelling a subscription
Go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Talkzy and tap Cancel Subscription, at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Lifetime has nothing to cancel.
Reporting a bug
Email me your device model, iOS version, the script’s language, the mic you use, and what you were doing when it went wrong. A screenshot helps a lot.
